InCarTec has been supplying car audio for 25 years, from our base on Sowton Industrial Estate in Exeter.

We do two things, and we do them under one roof. We build complete fitting solutions, supplying everything needed for a job, and ship them to customers and installers across the UK and Europe. We also fit that same equipment ourselves, by appointment, in our own workshop here in Exeter.

The stereo is the easy part

Anyone can sell you a head unit. The difficulty in an aftermarket install is everything around it: which fascia suits your exact model and trim, which harness keeps your steering wheel controls working, what's needed to retain the factory reversing camera, whether the parking sensors will still chime.

Get one of those wrong and the box on your doorstep is useless.

That's the problem we've spent 25 years solving. We develop kits around specific vehicles rather than selling a pile of parts and wishing you luck. That means what arrives is what fits, and our industry leading product lookup tool guarantees you'll find the right parts to fit your exact vehicle.

We also only sell what we've tested. If it hasn't been through our workshop, it isn't in our catalogue.

Who we supply

The UK, Europe and the trade

We supply retail customers throughout the UK and across Europe, alongside a trade network of independent installers, mobile fitters, garages and vehicle converters ordering from us week in, week out.

We're the sole UK supplier for BLAM Audio. These French-engineered speakers, subwoofers and amplifiers have a dedicated following among people who take sound quality seriously and you can only get them from us.

Alongside BLAM we stock Pioneer, Alpine, JL Audio, JBL, Thinkware, MIO and more, plus the fascias, harnesses, interfaces and workshop consumables that make an install possible.

We manufacture our own steering control looms, and we're currently developing our own-brand range of speakers, adapters and sound baffles too.

A team with car audio knowledge that's second to none

We're a team of 18, and a lot of us have been here a long time. Our longest-serving colleague joined in 2011. Several others have passed ten years, including our main fitter. Many more are well past five.

In an industry with plenty of turnover, that matters more than you might realise. It means the person picking your parts has seen your vehicle before, and the person fitting them has done it more times than he can count. When you call, you're speaking to the people who'll be working on your car, not just a call centre.

We fit at our own workshop at Unit 3, Apple Lane, Trade City, Sowton Industrial Estate, Exeter, EX2 5GL. Located just a few minutes from junction 30 of the M5, it's within easy reach of Exeter, Devon and the wider South West.

Fitting is by appointment and we can help with stereo and speaker upgrades, subwoofers and amplifiers, dash cams, reversing cameras, parking sensors and more for cars, vans, motorhomes and commercial vehicles. Whatever your vision for your vehicle's audio, we'll help you realise it.
